THE "SOS®" TECHNOLOGY
SOS® SuperOverSeeding technology consists of the ability of a particular variety of Lolium multiflorum turf-type (var. westerwoldicum) to germinate at low temperatures (germination down to 4°C soil temperature).
WINTER OVERSEEDING
SOS® SuperOverSeeding is the only mixture on the market whose varieties have been specifically selected for winter overseeding at low temperatures. Established on a sports field in January with a soil temperature of 6.2°C, the surface coverage after 30 days was 60%: the fastest possible solution among all overseeding mixtures, also for all ornamental and recreational lawns.

All seeds in the Barenbrug Consumer Line are coated with the modern patented Yellow Jacket Biostimulator® technology, which promotes lawn establishment by reducing the natural mortality of seedlings as well as the removal of seeds by insects and birds.
