Easier to transport, made from non-toxic material, they offer better results and are easy to clean. Plus, the pressure increase is minimal compared to sand. 500g of Flowclear Polysphere is equivalent to a full 18kg of sand!
The quantities of Polysphere to use are as follows:
2,006 L/h filter pump: 8.5 kg of sand, 240 g of Polysphere.
3,785 L/h filter pump: 18 kg of sand, 500 g of Polysphere.
5,678 L/h filter pump: 25 kg of sand, 700 g of Polysphere.
7,571 L/h filter pump: 35 kg of sand, 1,000 g of Polysphere.
Flowclear Polysphere can also be used with other sand filters; 1 kg of sand can be replaced with 28 g of filter balls.
