Natural pumice with an indicative particle size of 8-14 mm.
Natural inert material widely used for mulching and decoration. Ideal as a corrective in the preparation of potting soils, especially for plants that suffer from waterlogging (succulents, houseplants, etc.).
It is used in hydroponic crops and rooftop gardens to promote drainage and reduce load weight.
Dosage and methods of use
Decoration and mulching: spread a 3-4 cm layer on the surface.
Drainage: spread a layer of at least 5 cm at the bottom of the pot or planter.
Aeration and water retention: mix 1/3 pumice with the potting soil.
