FEATURES
AL.FE PERLITE is a volcanic rock that, when subjected to high temperatures, expands its volume up to 20 times its original size. The structure of the granules is characterized by the presence of open and closed porosities. The simultaneous presence of these characteristics gives the rock high breathability and, at the same time, high water impermeability in the core of the granule. Expanded perlite is a stable and chemically inert product, compatible with eco-sustainability and bio-architecture criteria (ANAB-ICEA certification). Perlite, thanks to its chemical-physical characteristics, is an excellent inorganic matrix for: potting soil mixtures, cuttings, lightening containers, preparing mixtures for propagation cubes, propagation of flowering plants, garden and vegetable plants, pricking out (transferring young seedlings born from seed from a pot or seed tray to larger containers). Perlite, when mixed with potting soil, improves the physical characteristics of the substrate, making it softer and more aerated, with a high water drainage capacity, facilitating the root development of crops. Ideal for flowering plants, vegetable gardens, and gardens.
DOSAGE AND METHOD OF USE
Mix with potting soil at a rate of 10-15% of the volume. (E.g., 5 l of Perlite for 50 l of potting soil). Vary the percentages according to the porosity and softness characteristics desired.
