DIATOMITE rock powder provides its protective action exclusively through physical means. Given the purely mechanical mode of action, insects cannot develop resistance. It can be used on all plants throughout their entire growth cycle and naturally protects against many insects and parasites. It is safe for humans, plants, and the environment. It provides silicon to the plant and protects it from thermal stress.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION METHODS
- In aqueous suspension: 200 to 500 g per 10 litres of water per 100 m2 of surface, depending on the required degree of coverage. It is advisable to add the product to water while stirring. Apply the suspension ensuring even coverage of the target surface, including the underside of the leaves. Apply in dry weather conditions. Repeat treatment every 7-10 days.
- Dry on vegetation: use appropriate equipment (bellows, dusters, sulfur spreaders) for powder distribution. Dose: 300 to 500 g per 100 m2. Repeat treatment every 7-10 days.
- Dry at the base of the plant or on the affected surface: scatter the product at a dose of 30-50 g / m2 or create a protective barrier 2 cm wide.
