How can the house be treated against fleas?
If the dog has fleas, the house can quickly become infested, as fleas lay eggs on the pet, which fall into the house and hatch into flea larvae. These larvae develop into pupae and finally into adult fleas, ready to bite the pet. Flea eggs, larvae, and pupae hide in bedding, carpets, linens, and upholstery throughout the house.
AdTab acts rapidly and eliminates existing and new fleas infesting the dog before they can lay eggs. Therefore, the product breaks the flea life cycle and prevents environmental contamination by fleas in areas the dog has access to.
If, despite using AbTab, fleas are still seen on the pet, it is likely newly hatched fleas emerging from the house. It is therefore important to continue with regular monthly treatments.
In case of massive flea infestation, and at the beginning of control measures, these resting areas of the pet should be treated with a suitable environmental product and then cleaned regularly.
Why are ticks still present on the dog after using the antiparasitic?
If ticks are still visible on the pet, there can be several reasons. Ticks can climb onto the dog's fur when it walks past them, even if the animal has been treated. Ticks must begin to feed on the host to be exposed to lotilaner, so they can attach. It is possible to see ticks still attached but no longer alive; this happens especially in areas with high parasitic pressure.
