It is a typical cutting chicory with erect, very broad leaves, rounded at the top, with entire, smooth margins, light green-almost blond in color, with lighter veins. It has an early growth cycle and re-sprouts quickly and repeatedly after cutting. It has fair resistance to low temperatures. Tender and sweet, it is consumed on its own or in mixed salads.
